Sandy Thain started his business in 1972. Having sold cars for a local business, he thought that he could supply a better quality car and service to the people of the North East.

This proved to be the case with Sandy securing the Opel and Vauxhall franchises & winning a multitude of awards through the years.

As customer numbers grew and service demands increased it was obvious that the premises at Kemnay Road, Inverurie were too small and in 2002 our purpose built sales and service centre opened in Kintore.

With up to 200 cars on display , mostly in our all weather sales arena, you can browse in comfort regardless of the weather.

Our state of the art 5 bay fully equipped workshop provides you with a high quality service for your car or van.

The importance of good, loyal staff cannot be over estimated and it is worth noting that the 11 staff employed at Sandy Thain's have a total of over 200 years service to the company !
